You often hear the same phrase in the IT industry: ‘A server rack is just a box of metal’. But those who work with equipment on a daily basis know for sure that everything depends on the quality of this ‘box’: ease of installation, ventilation, and even the safety of investments in equipment.
That's why we decided to take a closer look at Vertiv VR Rack, a server rack that is increasingly appearing in the specifications for data centres, office server rooms, and telecom data centres.

The side panels are easy to remove, the cable holes are large and logically placed, and the vertical rails support additional organisers and UPS without sacrificing any usable space.

And the ventilation is among the best in class, with large front and rear door perforations for efficient passive or active cooling. For those who use equipment with high heat emissions, this is critical.

VR Rack cabinets are also designed to withstand dynamic loads. This means that they can be transported even with fully mounted equipment - without the risk of deformation or loss of stability. In combination with casters, this solution is convenient not only for installation, but also for temporary stands, test areas, and showrooms.
