The United DC data center is designed to host large projects with significant power consumption, and also invites small projects to be hosted on separate servers on a unit basis.

United DC is a reliable Ukrainian data center located in Kyiv. The data center was developed in accordance with the requirements of the international TIER-III standard and is designed to host servers, IT infrastructure of companies, large projects and private resources. The data center provides a wide range of services with a high level of service and a 99.98% fault tolerance guarantee.
The high reliability of the Data Center is ensured by two independent power inputs of the 1st category from two different substations. In addition, uninterruptible power supplies and diesel generator sets are used to prevent emergencies in the Data Center.
The uninterruptible power supplies are industrial modular UPS Liebert APM with redundant power modules and N+1 batteries manufactured by Emerson. There are 2 UPS units (N+1 each) installed, so the overall reliability of the system is 2(N+1), which technically corresponds to the level of fault tolerance - TIER-III/IV (according to TIA-942). The design features of the UPS provide intelligent battery charging control, which has a positive effect on both the battery life and the overall power supply of the United DC Data Center as a whole.
In the absence of power supply, the data center's reliability is ensured by VISA industrial diesel generator sets (DGS) based on the Volvo-Penta engine. The diesel generator starts up in 30 seconds, with a high startup speed due to the fact that the cooling liquid in the diesel generator is constantly heated. At the same time, the fuel supply lasts for 4 days at full load without refueling.
The switching between the main and backup power sources is performed by a General Electric automatic transfer switch (ATS). The power backup system in the data center is capable of managing and cross-redundantly redundantly relying on two power inputs of 2 DGs.

Vertiv air conditioners are controlled by the direct freecooling system, which was first implemented in Ukraine on an industrial scale at UnitedDC.
Given the climatic conditions in Ukraine, this allows us to use outside air for cooling for most of the year. Before being supplied to the data center premises, the supply air undergoes high-quality full-fledged purification, which is achieved through the use of a set of coarse and fine filters. The data center has a constant air supply (overpressure). The intelligent climate control system independently makes decisions on changing operating modes, which ensures high energy efficiency of the data center.
Vertiv precision air conditioners in the data center maintain not only the set temperature but also the set humidity with high accuracy, the parameters of the normal climate control setting in the cold corridor are 22°, 40%. All components of the air conditioning system in the data center are redundant on an N+1 basis.
